Art Challenge: Real Person I Don't Know
Ladies and Gentlemen I give you William Hartnell. I drew and posted this one on time but he got sucked through a time space vortex and arrived late. He really should read that TARDIS manual. He was the first Doctor on Dr Who. So much cooler than the 4th doctor.

He's definately recognizable, good job!

Good proportions, but the shape of his face is...wierd? I would suggest dropping the center portion of his nose down a bit so it's not quite so flat, and adding some crowsfeet-wrinkles at the corner of his eyes and at the crease between his eyes/below his brow. A darker/more shaped mouth (thickening the bottom and then narrowing to the edges of the top lip, then dropping down a bit to show his smile more) would give his expression more depth. Your subject has large expressive eye which you've captured well, but needs more shadows over the eye. Also, don't forget the top lid of the eye which does great things for expressive eyes on realistic portraits. I would recommend either enlarging the pupil since it's a bit small in comparison to the cornea, or making the eyes a LOT more reflective. Probably the former since he has such dark, piercing eyes.

I almost think there aren't enough wrinkles to show his cheekbones, but the puffiness under the eyes really accents them nicely. The hair is very good, and does a good job of showing his neat and tailored style. A bit more curl would be good, so it's not quite so chopped off at the bottom, but looking at a photo, that's kinda how it goes.

May I suggest either a sharpie or blacking large dark areas in photo editor? A micron is great for detail, but not for filling large areas.
