Bens Bachelor Party
I just got back from Bens bachelor party.
The guest list consisted of Ben, Dylan, John, Brian, Ira and myself. After every one arrived we went in to Johns room and played Super Mario Brawl. This is a game I suck at but I was able to hold my own when I played Pikachu. I never ended a brawl at first place but I did end at second a few times; usually sharing the #2 spot with some one else.
After Brawl we went in to the back yard where we had burgers. These burgers were spicy burgers. Any one who knows me knows how I love spicy food. I had plenty of potato salad and chips before the belated corn on the cob was brought out. After the corn was making its way around the table John pulled out a camcorder and got some footage of us having perhaps the stupidest conversation ever. I know he got me on tape explaining how camel spiders jump on to the bellies of camels to lay their eggs; and Dylan insisting that my camel spider knowledge is less than perfect.
After the meal we went back to Johns room and watched the adventures of The Amazing Screw On Head, a classic in the making. Ben compared me to Emperor Zombie. And I see enough of the similarities to get why he made the comparison. It was an enjoyable movie. If any one reading this hasn’t seen it I recommend watching it.
Next came monopoly. It was a Nintendo version. I had my eye on the green properties. They were the Zelda properties. I was going to have them they were destined to be mine! Apparently Ben is a Monopoly bad ass and he plays by the rules. ::SWEET:: free parking didn’t have any money on it and when you landed on a property and didn’t by it, it went up for auction. YES this was going to be a great game. I love playing games with the real rules. I play UNO for points. The guys brought out this drink concoction and wanted to play a drinking game with it. When ever we landed on chance, community chess, or a tax spot we would have to do a shot of the mixture. This mixture was non alcoholic. So one might wonder what the big deal was. Why have a drinking game where no one got drunk, well, the drink was NASTY. It was cool aid. Normal cool aid is 1 packet to 3 quarts of water, this stuff was 3 packets to 1 quart of water. I really didn’t want to drink it. After I landed on chance I took my shot and decided that I wasn’t going to take another. I started to back out of the game but John said I should stay in but not drink. When I landed on a tax spot every one started pouring me another shot. I took my shot and then quit the game. I really wanted to play but I couldn’t drink any more of that stuff. After I quit the game there wasn’t much to do but sit and watch them play Monopoly. So I gathered my stuff, said good by and left. It kinda sucks. This was Ben’s Bachelor party so I was ready to drive home at 5am. But I left around 9:30.
I still want to play monopoly with Ben though. I will have to set up a game. Maybe Pokemonopoly.
