Art Challenge: Alternate Character. Part 1
This is the first half of the Alternate Character challenge. A little while ago I drew my DnD character. He is currently a mage focusing on Force spells, mainly Magic Missile. This is him done up as a Specialist Necromancer.

I think he looks great. That is a ghost touch scythe, and funeral wrappings.

Your art is improving. You really have the anime-style hand pose going on in this drawing. I like it! ... but the fist is a little blocky. Still, you're getting more bold with your art and that's a good thing!

You always do a nice job on the costumes. Some of the things you come up with are very creative.

I think your next challenge should be to draw in 3/4 view. I notice a lot of what you draw is either the front, side, or back of a person. 3/4 is a little tricky because you have to draw at an angle... but the benefit is that it makes your drawings look more dimensional.

Funeral wrappings. I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE.

With that said, it's a good overall design. There's something interesting about having some of the wrappings engraved with runes, and some plain. I keep wanting to pick through them all and look on both sides. I could easily see this character eventually becoming a lich.

What the hell happened to his left hand?

I would love to see another picture of this character in a more dynamic posture; perhaps the follow through after whipping someone or something in half with that sweet ass scythe.
